I have a 2005 Nissan Quest V6. I replaced the radiator, thermostat, and upper and lower hoses 2 weeks ago because the old radiator was cracked. i had to keep filling it with water, literally every 10-15 miles. the hoses were really soft and so I changed everything while I was at it.

now ive noticed that I don't need to refill it, HOWEVER, its not pulling coolant from the reservoir tank. i checked the engine oil and it doesnt look like the fluid is leaking into the engine. The oil color is fine. I took it to a shop to get a second opinion and he told me the radiator is sucking air (or the engine is pulling air from the radiator) and that sooner or later coolant would begin to leak into the engine.

He basically told me I am screwed and to sell the car.

Any advice? Has anyone ever heard or seen this?

I've never seen a radiator "suck air." If there was a place for it to "suck air," it would leak when the system is pressurized. How do you know it is not pulling coolant from the reservoir tank? If it can't, that will typically cause the radiator hoses to collapse. This is the typical symptom of a radiator cap that is not venting or an overflow hose that is clogged.
Also, you should have posted this in the Quest section, not the Hardbody truck section!
