Look in your owner's manual. there is a fuse diagram. Likewise, all the fuses are identified on the covers or on the inside of the cover for the fuses to the left of the driver. Most likely you have a broken wire or two going through the rubber conduit between the rear hatch and top left of the rear of the X. You have to undo the inside rear trim to be able to disconnect the wiring loom connectors and ground, to be able to pull the loom somewhat to inspect the wiring. One issue with the fuse box for some of us used Xtrail owners is lack of owner's manual and the inside / kick panel fuse box cover has no visible means of identifying the mini fuses and uses. I too will do a forum sticky search for the fuse box cover or manual for future references.
