i dont know why you want to make it louder, but what you need to do is go to your local muffler shop, have them remove the resonator and replace it with a straight pipe. if that doesnt do it, then nothing will.

Do you want performance or just want be annoyingly loud?

You took off the converters? huh?

Little Turbo Muffler?....what type, brand? size...?..still have stock piping?

You're going to have to supply people with more information if you wish to get help..

Please Please Please...do some research before you do another thing..

i have straight pipes run from my header back and my exhaust is will over 100 db. get rid of the resonators. all they do is silent the exhaust.
Do you find yourself saying HUH a lot?

I'm missing the point of loudness... the point should be best possible performance.. if you want ghetto loud then just cut the muffler off..

Taking off the whole muffler will give you increase of hp, but why would you want that loud of an exhaust? You'd just be another ricer if you just cut off your exhaust, why not get a good named brand or just a custom one? Its alot better. Thats just my 2 cents.

its not that fact that i want it annoyting loud... I just want a very nice deep tone to set my car aside to these little civics running around that sound like dirtbikes.. And the turbo muffler is a cherrybomb, and i only took 1 converter off

Then you're going about it the wrong way...

Let me guess you're throwing a CEL now? What did you do with the O2 sensor installed after the cat? People these days only use cherrybombs as resonators.. I'm getting a stinking suspesion you've been talking to some old school domestic hot rod guy... taking the convertor off wasn't nessesary..

Save yourself some money, research before you spend another dime.. research what other Sentra owners have done and what has been proven over time and on the dyno..

please take the advice from above and read the links...

Loud is bad. I got a ticket for loudness 3 weeks ago. If you have an intake, header and exhaust, it will be plenty loud. If you want to have a nice deep tone, buy a Stromung muffler or full exhaust.

Stromung sounds like it's out of his budget...

Save up the money and get a stainless steal pipping with mandrel bends. You wont be sorry. It wont be too loud. I found that when i went with aluminized pipping, it made my cars exhaust too loud. Stainless is now on my car and it sounds great and feels better.

Did you go with a different brand between the stainless and aluminized?

I went with Mossy Performance. It cost around 850.00 out the door, but it was well worth it. They use stainless steel. It sounds great and you can even hold a conversation in the car while you are driving. It even gives a good gurgle outside the car also.

I hear that mate. I never considered that aluminized is louder but come to think of it, it makes sense given the exhausts that I have heard!

First, I never said that i didnt have a muffler so don't start trying to change what i said. . second of all i didnt even want straight pipes the guy who did it was an idiot and didnt know what he was doin i just got a whole new setup header (hotshot) 2 1/4 all the way with a magnaflow high flow cat and a greddy muffler (i noticed a differance with the cat back on) and another good muffler for a deep sound is borla. my friend has one and it sounds great.

Well, I already found the way to make it sound the way I want it... I took my converter and resonator off.. And then ran 2.5inch flex pipe from where the resonator used to be back to a ebay muffler... It dosnt sound ricey or anything. It has that very deep humming tone when idleing, and when taking off it gets just loud enough to notice but never changes from a deep tone.

You will be shocked when you remove the exhaust manifold heat shields. We have two individual tiny cats. Then the main cat.
