Energy suspension makes a complete motor mount replacement/insert kit which will decrease engine movement. It will increase noise and vibration into the passenger compartment.

Can anyone recommend some good engine mounts for my GA16de engine (91-94) Sentra. The originals allow too much engine movement .....thanks guys.

you can see pics of their solid mounts (which I have in my car) and they're pretty stiff... its great with the turbo because you can feel the engine REALLY move at times.

 

I bought the energy suspension motor mount inserts, and they work great at stopping unwarrented movement of your engine, however they require some trimming to fit. Mine work great, however, you will notice much more vibration at idle.

Yeah I put the ES mounts/inserts in recently(all of them not just the torque mounts) and I get some pretty mean vibration at idle. It's not too bad at other times, but it is fairly annoying at idle.

I don't remember how much I got mine for because I bought them with the tranny but I think it was 150... he gave me new mounts and pressed them in for me the same day too, so not bad for me I guess...

 

FYI, I didnt have to do any triming on my mounts. I have a GA16DET powered B13

thanks for the info guys, I think i'll go with the mounts from lighting motorsports that james recommended, but the kits comes with 4 mounts....???? my ga only has 3 mounts ???? what gives .....and how does the installation go? do i have to physically remove the old original inserts and then have the new ones pressed in ??? oh and when ordering I have to specify that I have an automatic transmission or does it fit on either manual or automatic. Thanks again guys

you'll have to get those mounts pressed into your stock mounts (or buy the mounts I have so that you can have them pressed in there and just install the mounts -shameless plug).

oh you have an automatic... they don't have the front dogbone mount stock... other than that the mounts are the same.
