Not sure if anyone here can help with this but long story short;
Purchased a 2023 Nissan rogue with the 1.5L 3 cylinder turbo engine from the auction. Ended up having a blown motor (hole in oil pan). Replaced the engine, starter , and alternator. The fusible link that goes to the starter / alternator was blown and both starter and alternator were dead. So we replaced the fusible link , starter , and alternator as well as engine. The alternator was a special kind of alternator that had a generator sort of deal attached to it (part # 23100-6rc0a). Vehicle runs perfect but I have a hidden code "U0120 -Lost communication with starter/generator control module." The driver assistance features are also not working and show an error. The vehicle also has an issue with the idle/stop feature. When sitting at a light , the car will turn off , but when I go to push the accelerator, the car doesn't automatically turn back on. I am forced to put the car in park, and push the start button to restart the vehicle. The starter / alternator I changed was from another used rogue and the part #s matched exactly. Is there some sort of programing needed for the starter/ alternator? Or does the driver assistance need to be recalibrated? Would a not working driver assistance cause the auto stop/start to not work properly as well? If you made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read through this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Dealer doesn't want to mess with the vehicle because it has a rebuilt title. Car only has 2100 miles.
