P0455 error, electrical help needed

Hello,

I got P0455 error = Evap Canister leak
- No leak (tested with vacuum pump)
- Canister vent valve new (tested with 12 volts = close, around 0.75A consumption)
- With engine idle 12 volts at the valve plug (valve not connected)
- Once the valve connected the 12 volts drops to 0 volt (the 12volts source has a large internal resistance)

I suspect a electrical resistance on the wires supplying the canister vent valve.

I cannot find any EC service manual electrical diagram to trace the wire to the ECM.
The two wires are white and green (one with a continuous line the other with intermittent green)

Is anybody have the wiring diagram of this canister vent valve connected on the evap box (not the EVAP CANISTER PURGE VOLUME CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE, attached to the engine input manifold)
Looks like that the canister vent valve is only installed on the Californian/Canadian model with a specific EC service manual related to these models.
So far I got this service manual but no wiring diagram inside which will help me to trace back the wires from the ECM.

Many thanks

Philippe
PS I can help to explain how to repair T30 transfer box, I change two bearings + pre-constraint + pinion engagement, works perfect

Mine does that intermittent.

Does the ground diagram help you?

Hello,
I have the POWER SUPPLY, GROUND & CIRCUIT ELEMENTS section PG, but mine is not covering the evap system.
Only the EC section covers the evap system.
I found in the web the californian/canadian EC section but no wiring diagram inside, against finding the wiring diagram in the standard EC section document which is only talking about the canister purge solenoid valve.
Thanks for your reply
Philippe
I did not see how to attach a document, will be more efficient than lot of words

With my code reader PO455 is Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (gross leak). How did you narrow it down to the Evap. Canister?
My car has this code sporadically. Sometimes the light will come on once a week or more and sometimes it will go for months. I'm beginning to think it's the 13 year old gas cap not sealing properly anymore.

Hello,
P0455 is: EVAP control system
gross leak detected
Possible causes are:
Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to
close.
• Incorrect fuel tank vacuum relief valve
• Incorrect fuel filler cap used
• Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap.
• Leak is in line between intake manifold
and EVAP canister purge volume control
solenoid valve.
• Foreign matter caught in EVAP canister
vent control valve.
• EVAP canister or fuel tank leaks
• EVAP purge line (pipe and rubber tube)
leaks
• EVAP purge line rubber tube bent.
• Loose or disconnected rubber tube
• EVAP canister vent control valve and the
circuit
• EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid
valve and the circuit
• Fuel tank temperature sensor
• O-ring of EVAP canister vent control
valve is missing or damaged.
• EVAP control system pressure sensor
• Refueling EVAP vapor cut valve
• ORVR system leaks
