It's a problem that has been irritating me since I got this car.
It starts up well when it's cold, but when the car tries to turn on after a long drive, it won't start right away. It takes me about 3 tries in order for the car to turn on.

Brought the car to my friend's house to get it checked and he said it could be the fuel filter not sending the fuel to the injectors right away(I think that's what he said).
So I just changed the fuel filter just recently and it still won't turn on right away after a drive. The fuel pump is working because I can hear the humming before I turn it on.

I don't know where else to look...=/

Anyone had this problem before?
How did you resolve it?

Thanks

Check the fuel pressure regulator; it may be bypassing too much fuel.

Disconnect the vacuum line to the regulator and see if that makes a difference.
