My Nissan kicks window exploded on Friday evening 11/8/24. Was driving home with my husband after eating dinner when we heard an explosion. I thought someone threw something but after getting home and looking at the car nothing hit it. Went to the dealership Gwinnett Place Nissan the next and they took pictures and they claimed they sent it to the factory. Wouldn't give me a loaner because Nissan had grounded them till next yr (so they said). Called the following Tuesday and got the same response after going back and forth with a service person. The Saturday after that went to the dealership and tried to speak with a mgr. Someone came out and took me back to the service department. Spoke with a mgr who gave me the same cookie cutter responses as everyone else. Monday 11/18 sent a text message letting know that what they were doing was unacceptable and my frustration with them and the lack of customer service. Then Tuesday I called consumer affairs and got a case #. The next day (Wednesday) someone called me and said she will reach out to the dealership and will follow up Wednesday (today) I called around 1030 ET since they had not called. The CS rep said that there was a note to follow up today. She called me about 315 to let me know that they could not do anything about it and that I had to go through my insurance even after I told them this was a Nissan issue and was on this forum.
