Alright, I realize I'm posting to a bit of a partial crowd, but I'm probably going to sell my car soon, and for $1000-$2000, and a $5.50/hr job, which of the following cars would be the best to purchase.

1989 Nissan 240SX with 180K and a granny-shifter

1981 Mazda RX7 with 73K and a 5-speed

1988 Mazda RX7 155K, w/o turbo and w/ shifter problems for $500

1988 Mazda RX7 w/turbo & 5-speed

1987 Toyota Supra (been sitting outside for a year but runs, w/ many mods.

Check the insurance rates. They are going to be much higher then what you pay for your Sentra. You might be able to buy the car but can you afford to keep it on the road??
