What is this in the steering wheel?
I drive a 97 200SX and one day while driving I heard some rattling from my steering wheel. The next day, while driving my horn just kept going off by its self.
This weekend I took my steering wheel apart and this is what I found. A piece fell off from the place shown in the picture.

This is the picture of a the actual piece that broke off. It seems like some type of weight, but i don't know what is is for.

Is this piece crucial for the steering wheel? The rubber feet on the corners of the piece are missing, so don't know if that matters. Should I just throw away the piece and just put my steering wheel back together?
