What can I upgrade my intake manifold for?

I have a 08 Nissan Altima 2.5 (please don’t laugh) and it’s my daily driving, but I just wanted to make a couple of upgrades to this car. I’ve been looking in forums to see if anyone has upgraded their upper intake before of just swapped it for a aluminum one (i just really hate the plastic one that it has right now).
So, can anyone suggest me something or help me with that?

From a performance point, the plastic intake is actually better than the aluminum. The runners are smoother and the manifold weighs a lot less. I don't know of a better performance intake available for the transverse-mounted, QR25DE. Maybe someone else on the forum knows of one?

I found the air filter (K and S?) change to an oil filter increased my performance on mine (it has the same-ish engine but 2014). I used Amazon.ca : K&N Filters.

If you're looking for performance improvements, invest in a good high flow custom CAT-back exhaust system; you'll notice improvement in the mid to high rpm ranges; plus it'll sound good. Forget about any improvements in the intake system; it's highly tuned as it comes from the factory. If anyone recommends a custom cold-air improvement package, that's also a waste of money; the factory cold-air intake system is excellent.
