[ARS97Pathfinder]

I had my glass replaced a few months ago at safelite. They chipped the glass while installing so I went back and got a new replacement. All is fine. But yesterday I noticed something weird in the glass, looks as if a piece of clear tape is there. I don’t feel anything on either side and cleaning doesn’t get rid of it. Doesn’t look cracked and nothing hit the glass. I should mention though it’s been close to a 100 degrees the for the last 7 days so not sure if that is playing a factor.

It’s hard to see with camera and from the outside but you can see it if you look. I just want to make sure it’s nothing structurally wrong with the windshield.

Any ideas? If you look in the photo directly across from my thumb against the white paper it’s there. about and inch long. I circled it

To me, it looks like a delamination of one of the layers of the plastic imbedded in the safety glass.

Does it need to be replaced again? Is this something that spreads?
