My car's cam chain jumped a few teeth, which bent the intake valve.
i had the head redone with new valves and shims. put a new genuine cam chain set on.
Checked timing on timing marks, which chain mask applicable on marks.
Started engine and engine wont run pass 2700rpm, and sounds bad, error code appeared P1136
changed vvti Controller, checked wiring and all is good. Still get P1136 code, checked vvt gear and all seems the same as other bank.
Any help or ideas to try resolve this pls?

Since the Intake valve timing control solenoid valve uses oil flow to control timing, dirty oil can cause the valve to stuck open or close. Before replacing the valve, change the engine oil and filter and reset the engine code. If the code comes back you can remove the Intake valve timing control solenoid and clean it with brake cleaner. The small oil passage to the VVT may be plugged up.
