VG33E timing advance limit

Hi!
I've got a 99 Pathfinder with a VG33E 4WD and would like to advance the timing for Horsepower gains,
however I don't have access to a dyno to see at which degree BTDC she will ping. Has anyone of you done it safely with your car?
