User profile help

I can’t really figure out for the life of me how these user profiles work. What I mean by that is for example, if I start my car with the auto start using my keys that I carry every day most of the time it defaults to the proper user profile. When I use my auto start from the Nissan connect app sometimes it has the correct profile and sometimes it does not. I get in at all my settings are all out of whack, and I have to figure out how to fix it. Can someone help me out here?

I do not have answers for you. I am wondering a few things that may lead to answers. First thought is do the settings that happen when using the app match that of your 2nd key fob? The other question is did you set up the app at the dealer or on the first day of ownership? Basically wondering if it is reusing whatever settings were set at the time of app setup and that you have changed them to where they are now.
I don’t know the answer to your pondering. Any idea how I edit the settings for when I start with the app?
You can try turning off the key linked settings found in the settings tab on the ic.
Can anyone help? Got in car today twice, both times started via phone app. Got in and profile was on guest and not my personal. My personal is “linked” with key “#1” so why does this happen?

Hi! I have the same issue and took to dealership and they do not know what to do until they get a service bulletin from Nissan. This started after the OTA update in summer of 2022. It is now like getting into a cockpit of an airplane and having to press all the buttons before you can even drive. On top of that, I have to scòot to the edge of my seat to reach brake pedal to start the car. Many electrical issues since last summer, whining tranny with delay in gears shifting, leaking fluid from underneath, dashboard goes black while driving and I could go on. Serious problems with redesigned model and nothing being done about it. Why buy platinum model if you are either scared to use features in fear of crashing.

I can tell you that these profiles are a mess, in my case the dam clock keeps going back 4 hours. It doesn't happen every single time, more like every 3-4 times that we drive it. The only way I was able to stop this was to disable all features related to profiles and then the clock stays on time, it's so ridiculous as you lose all features. Can't wait for this survey to come in, worst Nissan I ever bought and I owned many. Gas smell, terrible fuel economy, whirring cvt, profiles and clock.
I just picked up (5/22/23) our 2023 Rogue SL (with premium package). I programmed the memory seat, easily. Next I will try to assign a setting to my wife's key and then to mine. Based on what you've all said here, I may need some luck on this! :p
