Used Pathfinder checklist

Hi everyone, I'm a noobe and I'm sorry if this information is already posted. I've looked but can't find it. I am going to buy a used Pathfinder, '01 to '03, that will have around 70,000 to 90,000 miles on it. Can anyone help me with a shortlist of the primary things I should be concerned about? At what mileage does the timing belt need to be replaced, etc. In general, are Pathy's a reliable high mileage, used vehicle?

Thanks for any help.

There is no timing belt on 01 and newer. So that's one thing that you don't need to worry about.
I bought a used 03 LE with 46K on it and now it has around 65K and I haven't had any problems.
I started off looking at less expensive ones because I was only going to use it as a winter beater but I'm glad I got something nicer because I drive it more than I drive my primary car.
My only advice is this. If you plan on keeping it for a while and putting a lot of miles on it, spend a little more, if you can, and buy something newer like an 03 or 04 with less miles.
I like the LE model since it comes with more toys and I consider the auto 4x4 a must have feature.

Good luck and don't forget to post some pics when you get one :)
