My company rents 5 trucks from Enterprise each spring/summer. The last few years we have had Frontiers, so I am fairly familiar with them. This year we have picked up three trucks so far, and two are 2016's and both are exhibiting the same issues.

1-when you first turn the Frontier on, in the dash display both green arrows (for turn signal/hazards) are lit and solid (not blinking). This stays on until you use a turn signal or flash the brights.

2-the key fob's do not work. We have tried 'reprograming' them, and the process goes as directed, but afterwards nothing works. If the key is in the ignition, and turned to ACC or ON then the key fob does work (locks or unlocks the car doors).

3-the interior lights do not work unless the key is turned to ACC or ON. This means that opening the car door does not cause any lights to come on, and the map lights do not work, no matter what the setting, unless the key is in the ignition and turned to ACC or ON. We do a lot of work at night, so this has fast become frustrating.

Any ideas on what is going on?

Even if the VINs are close to each other it's very unlikely that two vehicles in a row are bad, in several respects.

Try disconnecting the battery of each for at least one minute and then reconnecting unless the manual forbids this.

A new pair of eyes may also help.

Ohm,

Resisting Deep Meditation again. :)

Probably something simple, but the Truck's should be still under warranty, so best to take to Nissan under Warranty.

Might be the Save Battery Fuse wasn't reset for customer.

Good Luck

They both need to go to the dealer. Call 800-647-7261 (nissan public affairs portal) to find your nearest dealer and arrange appointments etc. This is either a build flaw, or physical damage (for example from water, etc.)
