1997 pathfinder le, 147k, auto trans
i dont know if this is normal, but when i drive my pathy, it shifts and downshifts perfectly fine with no problem but when the car hits overdrive(above 45 miles an hour), if i release the gas pedal above 45mph and then re-press it, it makes a sort of muffled knocking sound, if i turn off the overdrive it dosent do this, is this normal, should i be worried about it?
the tranny fluid is clean and its at its normal level on the dipstick.
