Tranny is damaged!
So Im driving down the street soing about 40-45 when my car suddenly starts to slow down while IM still hiiting the gas--I thought it was maybe cuz I was low on gas and thought nothing of it.....
A week or two later IM on the expway going 80 and the car drops to 40 the same as b4 with a full tank of gas.....
I just took it to a shop and found out that the transmission needs to be rebuilt--$750 to have it done
Its a 98 with 45,000 miles!!!-if U can bellieve it
Any suggestions or comments at all would really help.....

yeah i know been so busy with work and traveling havent been near a computer to long to keep up but i should be getting into it
my ride lets see 58,000 miles later started having problems going up hills didnt really think about it to much thought maybe was just a blockage somwhere , anyways ii started looking into a little further discovered my cat went bad and nissan is refusing to change even thought it is under a 8 year 80,00 mile garuntee the say becasue of the CAi it isnt covered luckily for me my family owns an auto part shop a universal fit nicely unitl i can get after Nissan to put an oem on!
anyways so i started having more problems my car would drop to low levels of speed on highways i mean like 65 to like 30 out of no where and some other instances like you im not covered under warraty anymore
so we took apart the tranny yesterday and ill know more in the next day what is the true problem is

OH yeah Addicted it def. sounds like the same thing that happen to me let me know wut U come up with....
Yeah I hate even being at the dealer--Im expecting the worse but IM ready to go to war for this.....
