I have a 95 Maxima with 107,000 miles. Over the course of the past 4-5 weeks the check engine light has come on. The dealer says it codes to the tranny. The shifting is good and the tranny fluid was ok for color and smell. I thought there might be a small piece of "crud" floating about in the fluid and occasionaly, for whatever reason, tripping a code. The tranny had last been serviced about 17,000 miles ago. Took the car to the dealer and had them do a power flush on the tranny and reset the code. That was last week. So far, so good. If, and when, I get another check engine light, is there a way I can reset it myself? When I drive through the dealers door it is pretty much a $40 minumum to take a look. I know their time is $$. So if there are things I can do myself, with my limited knowledge and tools, I try to. All helpful hints and comments appreciated.

Best,
Gary
