The guy at the tranny shop said the differencial or something, but i was wondering if anyone knew what year fit what? i always thought that 93-97 were the same??? oh, and also , the guy i bought the tranny off of, don't know what year....some help would be appreciated!!!!!!

One is a limited slip and the other is not. Look on the vin plate under the hood. Near the bottom you should see the trans. #. It should look seomething like RE4F04A or RE4F04V. The one that ends in A is a standard differential. The one that ends in V is a limited slip. So if you have a standard diff. the replacement trans. is most likely a limited slip. All you have to do is replace the left side axle. You can usually find them new for $50.00 at most parts stores.
