Anybody know if its possible to replace the tire jack sills underneath the car? The person who owned the car before me smashed the hell out of them, probably when they installed the rims.

Mine rusted out a long time ago. It's possible to weld in a thin piece of sheet metal, but almost nothing will have the integrity that the sills had from the factory. I think it's time to use a real floor jack.

Even if they are mashed they should still work fine.

Haha Not in the condition mine are in. Its a real mess and is digging into my floor panel.
Yeah, mine were rusted into oblivion. Mine were in danger of breaking into the car as well. I filled mine with an all-metal filler and sanded them flat. I guess that's what floor jacks are for...

Tire Jack Sills eh?
Not sure where they are cause I use a floor jack under the rear end, or the front crossmember just behind the oil pan!
