We recently received close to 8"-10" of snow. This is the first time I install tire chain on my 95 Pathfinder. I only have one set of Z diamond pattern chain. People in the internet debate some pros / cons of installing chain in front and rear wheels. Upon reading it I decided to mount them in front for overall better steering control and brake control. Tonight pull out the owner manual indicated by Nissan that I should install those chains in the rear. The question is what harm have I done by mounted those chains in front wheels for the last two days? Any advises would be greatly appreciated!

No harm, just put them on the rear.

Thanks for your reply. The truck sure handles well in snow with chain mounted in front wheels. Next time will have mount those in the rear wheels.
