Unfortunetly from the looks of the breakdown it does appear that you do have to remove the head? Kind of why I did not do the whole timming chain deal and only the guide. There might be a trick that I don't know of though???

Cool! Now I think I might have gone for that procedure even though it sure seems as though it could take close to the same time? The only differance is the fact that you don't have to buy a head gasket and clean up the mess that you make when pulling the head ...
