I have a 89 240sx and am looking at getting coilovers. I was looking at either the Tein basic or tein superstreet. However, SS being almost 300, 400 dollars more. Has anyone used both of these coilovers to compare? Just looking for some input.

Well, the most obvious differences are that the Super Street dampers are adjustible and the Basics are not.

You can "fine tune" the SuperStreet dampning rate to suit your preferance.

i have read that the springs on the super street dampers arent really stiff enough for road racing and autocrossing, but all you have to do is order different spring from tein and youre set...if you wanna go the route

i have ss's and i love them...
