if i remember right, you should have the single coil, so it should go on the positive side of the coil(?). It should say in the instructions for it. If you have a multi-meter, theres also a plug behind your gauge cluster for the factory tach. I'm not too sure on which it is, but find the one for the tach and probe it till you find the one that changes voltage while you rev it.
