Hey guys,

I wanted to self install my KYB struts on my 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V. First, I have a few questions.

Is it hard?

What tools would I need?

I already have the Eibech Springs installed on the car and it feels extremely bumpy and I get clunks and squeaks, will this stop with the kyb's and what should I expect the ride to feel like?

Step by step how do I install the struts?

Is there anything I should watch out for?

Thank you guys so much,

Ryan

Various size wrenches/sockets/torque wrench for proper tightening/ jack & jackstands (if no access to a lift)/ Spring compressors as shown in the pic (only special tool really)

The spring compressor can be rented from autozone. They're two types of spring compressors. One for just springs and one for the spring/strut combo. You want the one for the combo (as pictured).

Lowering on stock struts sucks for ride quality. Also, decreases the lifespan of your struts.
