Hi i just bought a 240sx a couple months ago and now just ordered my SR20DET Blacktop. I was reading on a couple sites that you can run up to 14psi boost on a stock engine and turbo. Is this safe to do w/out hurting the motor. I also ordered a Greddy Profec B spec II boost controller and a Turbo XS RFL BOV. What else is recommended to get before the install? i only have about $700 more to work with so kinda lookin for the necessities. Thanks for your help. You can run 14psi but I dont know if it shortens the life of the turbo or not. Ive heard its safe to run tht PSI though.

I would invest in a Turbo Timer. Save the life of your turbo.

where did you order it from?

and are you keeping the SMIC...new clutch would be a wise decision..and new fuel pump if you plan on upping the boost. The stock fuel pump wont hold up for long when running high boost.
