But what exactly are trying to do. And to answer your question it might work. But you'll have to do a lot of altering I don't think the ka tranny and sr tranny are the same. . Why don't you just put an sr tranny in it you gonna break your own head just trying to figure out you question.

NISMO240 WAT IM TRYING TO SAY IS, WILL A SR20 ECU COMMUNICATE WELL WITH KA AUTO TRANNY AND YEA IM PLANING TO GO WIT SR20DET COMPLETE SETUP BUT JUST WANNA KNOW WAT THINGS CAN I DO TO BRING THE COST DOWN. FOR EXAMPLE BE ABLE TO USE KA TRANNY WIT SR MOTOR

i'm guessing you could, but i don't see the reason as to why you would want to. you would be better off using the SR auto tranny, but i'd suggest you get a 5-speed.

im with nismo. 5 speed is far superior on the 240. auto trans is limited. as for the transmission i know for a fact the bell housings wont be the same

just like all of them are saying. if want auto go with sr auto. the 5 speed is better and will be easier to replace if anything breaks.

First of all, the KA A/T will not bolt up to an SR20. Secondly, the KA A/T control unit pinouts don't match anything on the SR ECU.

thanks rogo. i never worked on the auto sr's so i couldnt answer dudes question.i was trying to do some m/t theory but its so different
