i just did the ole sr20 swap on my sentra. i got the motor off an nx and i got it really cheap. but here is where the problems start. it looks like i got fuel and i deffinatley got spark but it still wont start so im looking at the timing. it seems that this motor has a det intake manifold and the timing chain was moved. does anyone know how many links the chain should have between the marks on the cam sprokets. the book reads 11 links. also should there be a problem because the chain wasn't put on right accordint to the gold and two silver links. i have the motor at tdc (top dead center) and the silver links dnt match up. i should be okay as long as the sprokets have the right links inbetween them right? any advice would help alot. thx.
