I finally got rid of my 06 Bonavista 5078. I purchased it new in May 07 and enjoyed it for about a year. After that it started to rattle like an old shoe box full of nails. the tranny was leaking, the engine started sounding like a diesel and was consuming a lot of fuel for a 4 cylinder. Nissan dealers were of no great help, stating that my X-trail problems were unique. That's not what I've seen on this forum. The other thing I hated was the unique tire size for an SUV, limiting the brands of tires available.
