i just recently changed my valve cover gasket. just thought i should add that before even those some of this existed before.
i have some problems with smoke coming out of the muffler. i get some white smoke as accelerate but not when idle. it comes out for maybe two seconds and stops and it will do it whenever it wants. all levels seem fine but the antifreeze level seems to have dropped maybe an 1/8 of an inch. (i marked it)
also, whenever i stomp hard on the gas, a big puff of black smoke comes out of the muffler. i read that black smoke is too much gas in the cylinder. this smoke only comes up at high rpms. with my electronic backround im suggesting that there isn't enough spark at the high rpms so the gas doesnt completely burn up causing the black smoke. am i right?
this saturday im doing an oil change, radiator flush, air filter change, distributor cap, rotor, wires, and spark plugs. and see what happens.
anyone have any suggestions about what to do with the smoke?
thank you
jj
