when i shift into second no matter how fast it wont let me bark tires. I dont really want to I just wonder why when i even do a hard shift the rpms go down before it actually takes off. I was just wandering if this was some kind of gearing issue or if it is like a traction control?

any particular reason you WANT to abuse your clutch and motor mounts that way? i guess you said there isnt but still... anyways, the clutch just may be old or getting worn out. on your altima, theres no traction control so thats not it. maybe youre just not trying to break it hard enough. :)

It may be a power issue try tuning it up and then doing the basic mods. You might have a good tire as well.
