Crazy-Mart, What the heck is happening with your B12? I've never had a transaxle case crack. Has your car been in a accident, or wrecked before you got it? Where is it cracking, and how did you fix it last time?

Na... its the swap thing between tranny.... the rear transmission mount suppose to have 2 kindof spacer for 2 bolts and 2 other bolt that close gap between support and tranny ... i was running with a bolt missing, a 1 1/2 inch tranny (driverside)mount too much in front (auto one)...and without spacers... so the thing got working on the bolts... and 2 of them broke buy a cool morning... one w/o spacer (m12) and the other one (closegap)didnt broke itself but cracked the casing... by that lowering the engine (oly suported by side mounts and front one wich i think is futile)...

The engine swing like crazy now.... the shifter wont go into 2,4th and reverse now .... if i take the console out... i might be able but better fixing that crap.... i think i need a tranny now...... since the casing is broke... i dont want to spend on rewelding alu and taping the shit out... better get a tranny for 250$can....

But hey !!... i found my winter beater now... so i wont be running the car sooner... i work 60hrs/week now so... i dont have to much time to fix that thing....

when I was running an e-15t engine a bolt on the rear mount broke clean out of the housing. If you can extract the bolt, you may can drill and thread the hole deeper. After that it will hold up better. If the case is not repairable then just trash it and get another trani.

Nismo Engine mounts will reduce engine deflection tremendously and will increase tani life. If those are not available anymore buy new stock mounts if yours are worn.

I never could never overcome the weak trani on the e-series.... maybe you guys can.

good luck

Nismo mounts are NLA. You can take polyurethane caulking and fill up the voids in your existing rubber mounts. This makes them quite bit stiffer. In my Sentra, I've broken every motor mount (sometimes twice). I find the problem to be fastener failure. To remedy this, I went and bought socket head cap screws (12.9 grade) to replace all of the hex cap screws in all of the mounts. Works alot better and even survives what horrible things I do to my Sentra.
