Ok i have read most of the post about this but i was so confused after reading half of them i was wondering first of all what would be the best and most cost affective swap and what exactlly will i need from the other car :confused:

ok now that i got that ? out of the way what cars and year models does the first genaration ga16de motor come in because i herd the second genaration dosent work so well and also i heard the wiring harnes would not matter beacuse i had a manual car i was told that even the automatic one would work for my car and i also understand that i need the throtel cable correct

ok and does anyone know if there are any strut bars thats will fit without modification and btw sonic i am a fan of the mx6's to my father is actullay working on mine right now and it will be my daily while im working on the sentra

thx alot for the help and i understand u kept the origannal engine in urs could u explain ur decision behind that and i have also been talking to my dad becuase he is my mechanic and he said that the current engine is better for tweaking and ajusting than the other and acctally my mx6 is a 1990 gt also i think i might have made a mistake and i belive i dondt have the ga16i i think its one of the othjers because i dont have the airbox like all th eothers iv seen

Ok so i have decided to ether go with the sr20de or the sr20det for this car so for this swap i will need the motor the trans and the wiring harness and computer and also alot of modification but i have yet to see any post or threads dealing with exatlly what has to be done so can some one point me in the right direction of where to start i am planing on the sr20det from the lter models fwd to try to ease the pain and not have to do a rwd conversion
