First, take off the intake (take off all the hose clamps and such). Then unbolt the throttle body from the intake manifold. then spray some throttle body cleaner on the inside and scub it real good with a toothbrush and wipe it all off. Then put it back together. Hope this helps!

The way I do it is remove every thing and start the engine and with one hand on the throttle and one hand spraying the carb cleaner spray the blade at differant angles all the while continuing to give the car various amounts of gas to keep the engine running! I have done it this way for many years. It may require a tooth brush but I doubt it.
