Hi I have two questions
What transmission comes with the 87 sentra coupe? (RS5F30A or RS5F31A)
What is the shortest r/p you can find in nissan transmissions that can be used in this gearbox?

I don't know about the numbers but I believe that only trannys from 87-88 sentras will work I think there is a difference between the B11 to B12 trannys. I just put in a tranny from a 4 door into my sport coupe and the gear ratios in 1-4 seem higher but the 5th is the same from what I can tell. Using the speed to rpm system. So I will not be as quick but will get better in town milage I can handle that.

i belive 87 could be either 30a or 31a. I know for sure the pulsar was a 31a. On your car though, the left hand side of the firewall is a cowl tag that lists the engine and transmission on it.
