·It was on Franny Lou 3 lights up from the LIE... right before the GCP.
He started with his burn out to get his tires sticky, i did nothing. just waited
So we lined up and the hands dropped
Off the line we were neck and neck he had about a 1/4 car lenght lead and the i shifted into 2nd and made up the 1/4 lenght then went into 3rd gear and started pulling away slowly as i went into 4th i was about a 1/2 car lenght in front and stayed that way until the agreed upon finish(tunnel under the GCP). he was totally surprised that he didnt catch me.
His car had RWD, T28, Motor Work, FMIC and a standalone and my car is basically stock with a t25 doing 7lbs. I cant wait till i upgrade my puny t25 with a t78 or something. I didnt find out what he had until the race was done and we talked.. He said that my 3rd gear was nasty and boy is it.. I didnt know at the time but some one video taped the race from the starting line and i will try to get my hands on the tape and hopefully post the vid..
