Hey, it's my first post on nissanforums.com! I bought a stock 2002 SE-R with a slight knocking sound (my bad), and I was told it was a problem with the connecting rod bearing. There's no knock in the low RPM's, but as it reaches 2500+ RPM, the knocking gets increasingly louder. I've done a bit of research into what this means and how this affects my engine, and I've gotten mixed reviews from "catastrophic engine failure" to "simple repair." The car has about 180k on the stock qr25 engine, and I'm hoping not to have to replace the whole thing... any input?
