revving problem....need help!!!!

I have a b14 sentra(made in mexico),
and it stalls when revving up to 3 to 4 thousand rpm's
but for a second or two then revs normal till redline....
it's not a feul problem that i'm sure of.....i think it might be the distributor but
i want to know if it's something inside the distributor that I can change or repair......
Any tips or info pleaasszzzeee let me know
