I recently purchased a wrecked pathfinder and Iam in the process of fixing it. The Airbags were deployed on Passenger and driver side. I've got some pretty good info on replacing them but Iam still in question on the Light, its solid now of course. I figured unplug the battery for a few minutes and replace it. What would be the process or reseting the light and do I need to worry about it deploying on me right after replacement?

Thanks in advance

I also buy cars at the auctions to repair.
If the car was in an accident, then you will need to replace all deployed bags and seat belts first. The airbag computer module will also need to be replaced. When the car is in an accident it will store hard codes in the control module.

If the airbag light is flashing then your airbag control module is good.
If it is not flashing then you will need to replace it or you can send it to MyAirbags - SRS Module Repair - after accident $55 and they can repair the module and remove hard codes.
