Ok i've got a 95 Nissan Sentra. Well i've got my amp wired up and everything works as long as i hook up a constant 12v source to my remote on the amp(just jumping it from the 12v direct from the battery over to the remote), but i cant for the life of me get my remote wire to work. I've tried hooking it up to the radio on the keyed 12v source, i've tried wraping the wire around the 10A fuse for the radio and putting it back in, and that didnt work either. I'm stumped as to why its not working. I mean hooking it to a fuse should give it power should it not. I was thinking the wire may not be working but i checked the continuity of it w/ a mult-meter and it came back at less than 100 ohms. So its not that. Also when i hooked it up to the fuse i checked the voltage at the end of the wire and it looked like it was drawing volts or something(instead of the needling moving forward it buried it self). So i dont know why this isnt work and i'm confused. Where is a good keyed source i can tie into cause i cant find one for the life of me.

I have had a similar problem. I used to install professionally. All I did was replace the wire and hooked it up to the remote wire on the back of my radio. Or if you have a factory radio you could hook it up to the switch twelv volt on the back of your radio. so i would definitly change your remote wire to a new one.
