ok i know this has been discussed many times but in every post some gets carried away and the question never gets answered ok now i was wondering if a b14 rear strut bar would fit the b12 and i know that regardless of a direct bolt on there is some metal that has to be cut that is in front of the rear strut towers but can anyone answer the question?

x 2 , Get the Active Tuning B13 bar. The metal you need to cut away takes 5 min with a drummel and their bar is probably one of the nicest aftermarket parts I have seen as far as machine work and finish goes.

don't even cut if you dont have to. Just use the big hammer approach and smack that extra lip into conformity. It's good stress relief.
True that, working on your car in general is the cause of, and relief for, many of life's stresses.
