I just got back & had a really good time. I saw a modafied blue 1.8T Jetta the guy seemed pretty cool & I ran him a few times--got him by about half a second I think. I beat a lightning twice but I redlighted :fluffy: He ran 8.9s both times. I beat an SRT4 twice and a Stang GT. lol, lots of ppl came to check my car and were surprised it's stock.

Anyways, I was VERY consistent. Hit 9.1s-9.2s everytime and my best run was this:

r/t: .573
60: 2.16
330: 5.90
1/8: 9.01 @ 79.06mph

Who wants to go next time?

Eh not really; i spun on all my runs - was launching only 2000-2500ish and it wasnt busy at all. No line to wait, race - go back to the line and ure the next one to go again.

As for ennis, umm opening day usually blows. Wait in line 4 hours and get to race like one time, oh boy!

Its in the Sanger area and its easy to miss, especially at night. Just look for the Love's truck stop and exit there. Stay on the service road, and do the first U turn after you pass the track. If you roll with the windows down, you should also be able to hear the cars racing every couple minutes.

from what everyone says i'm not sure if i wanna go waste money at ennis... the tracks i go to is the same length drive just about and for 15 bucks i could run 20 or 30 times if i wanted to. Only time it gets busy there is when they have the drag events and they dont let us on the tracks at all. I do wanna try denton tracks though so i'll go up there when i get the spec aligned. Until then 1.8 all the way :thumbdwn:

Ive been to Hallsville its pretty cool, just like denton except its a 1/4 mile and lots of imports. Also it's real laid back.. cool people. Screw ennis on opening day - Ive been to enough of those to know not to go, lol.

what color is your spec? you might have been the one that pwned me haha. When i went there it was last year i hardly saw any imports on the saturday night things there were mainly mustangs and camaro's but slow ones with the exception of a few really fast foxbodies.
