I did a search here and came up dry. I have a 95 3.0L, standard and one of the injector drivers is fried (I'll explain later). I was going to pick up a junkyard ECU and was wondering what years I could use.
I was at the "recycled parts outside warehouse" and they only had '91 Pathfinders with automatics. So I installed a '91 AT ECU into my '95 MT (the connectors were the same).
It worked - the engine ran fine, the check engine light came on when powered on and extinguished when the engine ran. I drove it for 80 miles and not one hick-up.
Got back from a 700 mile trip towing a '19 boat half that distance. Not a single hick-up. So for me putting a '91 AT ECU into a '95 MT vehicle gave me ZERO problems.
