I Have a nissan bluebird with a QG18DD engine and my mechanic told me that the time is out by 8 degree because it should be 15 degree and it presently at 7 degree. Can they reset the timing manually or is it done electronically ?

your mechanic is msot likely wrong man. the ignition timing is controlled by the ECU and is variable.

I am getting a CEL and when it was check they told me that the crankshaft position is bad. I change the sensor, but was still getting a P0335 code which is the same crank sensor. I was told to get the timing check. Could it be the ECU or the sensor
