Japan or the UK are the best bets. Be prepared to have it crushed at the docks if it comes from Japan, and be prepared to pay 2x or 3x the value of the vehicle to bring it over.

Well, im going to import it when i get into the military so the shipping charges wont be outrageous. I just have to find someone to convert some of the safety issues im guessing. but im going to keep it right hand drive.

you can't import into the states.

the way people used to do it was import them into mexico, register them as something else from the same manufacterer and then bring them across the border. R34 Skylines were registered as G35's, for example. they can't even do that anymore.

if you want a GTi-R, move to Canada. we can still import:).
