just make sure you have a good coat of wax on the car.. .rewax every 3 months if you can... try to make sure any scratches are touched up and covered with touch up paint to keep the exposed sheetmetal to a minimum... I see you like in Canada... try and wash your car as often as the weather allows... the worst thing with salt is that it gets mixed up in the snow and freezes on your car... this isn't that big adeal, but when it thaws it gets into the metal surfaces... if you are driving through snow, then park in a garage that is above freezing, the salty slush melts and runs over everything... if you are not consistantly washing your car, this daily process will KILL your car... Cars that are garaged must be washed ALL THE TIME!!! irinically, if the car is stored outside, that snow/salt mixture dosen't have time to mely, and is not nearly as harmful...
the moral of the story is, wash your car, and just because you keep your car in a garage does not help, in fact, it could hurt it!!
