Start with your local junk yard... they have good trans. for about $200-$350 ... depend on mileage in transmission.

So it turns out I need a new transmission for my 95 Altima GLE.
It's an automatic. A few people have told me to go for a rebuild kit, but others have said I could find a used tranny with less miles for close to the same price.
Anyone know where to look? I've been constantly checking Craigslist in my area.
Any help would be great.
