1st there his no such thing as Bang for the buck when your swapping engine... for everything, prepare too get over 2000$...easily !!...

from wath i know: heres my list of choice....

E15et... bolt on tranny, nothing to change but harness and ecu gas pump.exhaust.. 100hp, but rare as shit pope probably around 600$ for almost complete swap here...

Ga16de... not very firendly swap...should be cheaper than SR20DE but still for all the work there... theres absolutely no bang for the buck here !! :) 110hp corect me if im wrong there...

SR20DE... this one is tricky, cuz its a ass load of work to put it in but !!... you could probably get the engine from a guy with an SER whos swapping for a DET for 300$to 600$... but youll need ecu, harness, tranny gaz pump, exhaust... patata patata... still a 2000$ job there but the gain is interesting 140hp...

SR20DET... same as above but be prepared to pay more for the engine itself... just the engine 1300$ to 2000$...

CA18DE... just get your self a good pulsar SE, and why keep your sentra... just keep the pulsar !! lol... simpler swap than Ga16de and SRs, but youll need to get couple things that your car doenst have... hydrolic clutch is one... not very costy but probably with a donor car you xhould be able to get it done your self for around 1000$.... 135hp ????... i think...

CA18DET.... this ones nice... 170hp... if your willing to do the DE... just get your self power, post 1988, with intercooler, same as above plus the real messy dash things youll get to fix... engine itself, 1000$ and more plus tranny ect...

well thats about it.... do a search for the engine prices youll get fixed for wath you want... but all of them is a lot of work.... just the wiring is quite a pain in the ass...

:)

well merely all performance stuff i could found was in australia... cuz they got tons of those engines there... anyway you could probaly get all that stuff youd need here... blow off valve, turbos, custom manifolds, e16crank and rods... i dont think theres a cam for it but im maybe mistaken...... anyway if you get your hand on an engine, youll be needing harness and ECU wich can put some trouble to find... could probably get one from australia... :)

try EXACLUB.net or N12turbo.com... they got links to many e15et forums and sites....

:)

Crazy-Mart, you sound like me the way you explained that. Hey danny, be prepared to spend at least $2500.00 for some good 'ol down to earth fun. SR20 set ups for the B12 should be best left for some one who knows how to weld and knows how to get down and dirty, but it's not impossible. The CA18DET is the bolt-up swap with the funky wiring job behind the dash. This is my choice and it's my bible for speeding. The GA16DE for you is a waste time (don't think about it). E15t is an exotic engine too me as I've just seen one close up last week. If you want your car to haul @ss, so are some of your dollars. It all depends on how fast you want to go. If you want a torquey tiger get the SR stuff, if you like to watch the tachometer move like VTEC get a CA, if you broke maintain your present engine and save your dollars. SR trannies will get you eventually and are a very scarce product and expensive. It has a viscous LSD and is geared right for fun. The CA gearbox can withstand massive abuse (This I know) and has a long 4th and 5th gear and the engine seems to really enjoy this feature, but it has an open diff which means no LSD. The SR's are bit more expensive than a CA, but all depends on what your present needs are. For torque and a broader aftermarket, go SR. For sheer fun and an engine that resemble's the skyline's Rb26DETT with all the reliabilty an iron block should deliver, then go CA.........

If you really want the 1.8 stuff in your B12, go find you a whole 1988 pulsar SE for parts and that's your best start.
